You talk to the developer
No account manager and no ticket queue. The person who writes the code is the person who answers the question, which is why answers are usually the same day.
WordPress, e-commerce and custom websites for businesses in Koramangala, Bangalore.
I build and rebuild websites for businesses in and around Koramangala – custom WordPress sites, WooCommerce and Shopify stores, redesigns that keep your rankings, and the support afterwards. Twelve years of it, working directly with you rather than through an agency.
Koramangala is where a lot of Bangalore businesses start. Small teams, early products, a brand that is still being argued about – and a website that has to look established before the company is.
That shapes the work. Early-stage sites need to go live quickly, look credible to customers and investors, and stay cheap to change while the product is still moving. Building one on a rigid theme is how a company ends up paying twice: once for the site, and again six months later when it cannot be changed without a developer.
So I build on WordPress with the editing in mind. Your team changes copy, adds pages and publishes posts without raising a ticket. When a funding round or a rebrand comes, the structure moves with you instead of being thrown away.
The other half of the work here is older businesses that are not startups at all – clinics, restaurants, studios, consultancies that have been in Koramangala for years and have a site built in 2016 that no longer reflects them. That is a redesign job, and the priority is keeping the search traffic the old site earned.
Custom WordPress sites built to the requirements you actually have, rather than a bought theme bent until it roughly fits.
The site does what the business needs, instead of the business working around a template.
Design and build together, so what is drawn is what gets shipped and nothing is lost in a handover between two suppliers.
One person accountable for how it looks and whether it works.
WooCommerce and Shopify stores with real product data, tax and shipping rules, and a checkout that has been tested with live payments.
A store you can run yourself rather than ring someone about.
Rebuilding an existing site without losing the rankings and the URLs it already has. Redirects mapped before anything goes live.
A better site that keeps the traffic the old one earned.
Single pages built for one campaign and one action, with the tracking wired in before launch rather than after.
You can tell what the spend did.
Updates, backups and monitoring on a schedule, so problems are found before a customer finds them.
The site stays current without you having to remember it.
Not an agency, not a marketplace. One developer, working directly with you, accountable for the result.
No account manager and no ticket queue. The person who writes the code is the person who answers the question, which is why answers are usually the same day.
The build follows your requirements rather than a package. If something on a standard list is no use to you, it does not get built and you do not pay for it.
Most traffic to a Koramangala business arrives on a phone. The small screen is designed first and the desktop follows, rather than the other way round.
Headings, URLs, metadata, internal links and technical SEO handled during the build, not bolted on by someone else afterwards.
Core Web Vitals, image handling and caching are part of the work. A site that takes six seconds on mobile data has already lost the visitor.
Launch is not the end of the contract. Ongoing maintenance is available, and so is simply being reachable when something needs changing.
The brief is different for each of these, and the site should be too.
A first site that has to be credible in front of customers and investors, launch in weeks rather than months, and stay cheap to change while the product is still moving.
A store that handles real product data, variants, offers and payments, and that the marketing team can run without a developer on standby.
A portfolio site that loads fast, shows work properly, and does not fall over when a campaign sends traffic at it.
A small, fast, credible site that answers what you do, who for, and how to reach you – without a page-builder bloating it.
Menus that are easy to update, a location that is actually findable, and a site that works on a phone in poor signal.
Clear service pages, an enquiry form that routes to the right person, and the local SEO groundwork so people searching nearby can find you.
I am based in Bangalore, so a meeting in Koramangala is straightforward when a project genuinely benefits from one – a first conversation about scope, or a handover session with the team who will run the site.
Most of the work does not need that. Projects run over calls, email and a staging link you can open at any point, which means nobody spends an hour in traffic to look at something that could have been a URL.
To be clear about what I am: a freelance developer based in Bangalore who works with businesses in Koramangala. Not an agency with an office on 80 Feet Road. If you want someone you can meet, that is easy to arrange; if you would rather never meet, that works too.
Based in Bangalore, so a meeting in Koramangala is straightforward when a project genuinely benefits from one.
Most projects run over calls, email and a shared staging link. Nobody has to cross the city for a status update.
Questions asked during your working day get answered during it, rather than overnight.

Most of what I build here is WordPress, because it is the right tool for a site that has to be changed often by people who are not developers.
What I avoid is the version of WordPress that gives it a bad name: a bought theme, nine plugins doing overlapping jobs, and a page builder that makes every page a slightly different shape.
Koramangala has a lot of D2C brands, and the question is usually the same: Shopify or WooCommerce.
The honest answer is that it depends on who runs the store and what it has to do. Shopify is faster to launch and easier to operate; WooCommerce gives you more control and no per-sale platform cut. I will tell you which one suits your case, including when that is the one I am not building.
A redesign is a riskier project than a new site, and the risk is almost never the design. It is the URLs.
Rebuild a site that has been ranking for years without mapping the old addresses to the new ones, and the traffic goes with the old design. I map redirects before anything goes live, which is unglamorous and is the single most valuable part of the job.
Categories common to the area. These are the kinds of brief I take, not a client list.

The same six steps on every project, so you always know what happens next and what you get at the end of it.
We talk through what the site has to do, who it is for and what is wrong with the current one if there is one.
You get: A written scope and a fixed price.
Why it matters: You know what you are buying before any money moves.
Sitemap, page structure, URL plan and - on a rebuild - the redirect map from the old site to the new one.
You get: A page-by-page plan.
Why it matters: The structure is agreed before anything is built, which is far cheaper than changing it later.
Design of the key templates, on real content rather than placeholder text.
You get: Designs you can react to.
Why it matters: You see the actual thing before it is coded.
The build, on a staging URL you can open at any point.

Cross-browser and cross-device testing, forms, speed, and the SEO basics checked against the plan.
You get: A tested site and the test results.
Why it matters: Problems get found before customers do.
Going live, with redirects in place, analytics connected, and a handover so you can run it.

Why it matters: You are not dependent on me to change a phone number.
Chosen because it suits the job, not because it is the newest thing available.
Included in the build rather than quoted as extras.
A site in Koramangala competes with every other site in Bangalore for the same searches, so the SEO work is structural rather than decorative.
That means titles and descriptions written per page, headings in a real order, clean URLs, schema, and the local SEO groundwork. What it does not mean is a promise about rankings, which nobody can honestly make.
AI assistants answer by reading pages, so the things that make a page understandable to a person – a clear question, a direct answer under it, structured data saying what the page is – are the same things that make it usable to them.
I build pages that way. What I will not do is promise that your business will appear in any AI answer: no one controls that, and anyone selling it is selling something they cannot deliver.
Four honest reasons, and no awards.
Agency work first, then freelance, across more than a hundred sites. Whatever you bring is probably something I have shipped before – and if it genuinely is not, I will say so rather than learn on your budget.
No account manager and no ticket queue. Replies land within one working day, from the person doing the work.
The scope and the price are written down before the project starts. If the scope changes, we agree the change; the invoice does not simply grow.
The cheapest part of a project is the feature talked out of it in week one. Expect to be argued with occasionally.
Tell me what you need. I reply within one working day, and the first conversation costs nothing.
